Dear Beloved in Christ,
We are on a journey on knowing the Lord personally and His kingdom. Last few years we have learned many things that are worth repeating and rejoicing in the Lord. There are more Scriptural references on some topics than I have put in. If you need more Scriptural references on any one topic or more, please write back and I will send to you. We live in exciting times and if the desire and longing is there, the knowledge of God will accelerate more in these times for all of us.
God’s Word is our Final Authority. (Jn. 6:63; 2Tim.3:16; 2Pet.1:20, 21)
Nothing in God is bigger than His love. (Eph. 3:17-19)
It’s not our love for God but God’s love for us that matters. (1Jn.4:10, 16)
God’s love has no fear but awe and wonder. (1Jn.4:18)
It’s about relationship with God not a religion. His presence is real (Gal.2:16)
Our actions are important but not important as our heart motives. (Rom. 4:5, Heb.4:12)
God’s love is our motive for our obedience unto Him (Jn. 14:15, 23, 1Jn.3:16, 4:10)
Salvation (sodzo) includes eternal forgiveness of our sins, eternal life, divine healing, divine wellbeing, divine deliverance from curses etc. (Eph.1:3 and 2Pet.1:3)
God our Father corrects us not through sickness or trials but through His Word. (Joh.15:3; 2Tim. 3:16)
Our spirit is perfected in Christ Jesus and is one with Him (Heb.10:14, 12:23, 1 Cor. 6:17)
We live by the Spirit and not by the flesh. (Gal.5:16 and Rom.8:4)
We have eternal redemption in Christ Jesus. (Heb.9:12)
The New Covenant God made on our behalf. (2Cor. 3:6, Heb.8:6, 9:15) We are New Covenant Christians.
We walk and live by faith and not by sight. (2 Cor. 4:18, 5:7)
We wrestle not against flesh and blood but we have a defeated foe. (2Cor 10:3-5, 1Pet.5:8)
We have authority in Christ Jesus as children of God over devil and his deception (Matt. 28:19, 20; Luke 10:19).
We have authority to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, cast the demons out and raise the dead. (Matt.10:1 and Mark 16:17-18)
The fruit of the Spirit is already placed within us as a deposit. (Eph.1:13-14; Gal.5:22)
Eternal life is not for the future only but already begun for a child of God in a relationship with Him because the word eternal means timelessness. (Jn.17:3)
These are some highlighted things that I have put in.There is much more things we have learned and will learn more things in the days to come. God's blessings on you all. I love you all and bless you all in the Name of Jesus!
Agape and Shalom,
Pastor Sam
