Promises and Endurance of the Word

clock August 23, 2011 05:55 by author samini77

Dear Beloved in Christ @ BLC,

God’s Word has all the promises in it for us to be saved, healed, prospered, delivered and blessed.  We have to believe all the promises of God are for us.  In this natural world, man has come up with temporary solutions that are alternatives to the promises of God.  We as children need to trust our Daddy God for everything.  On Fridays, I have started a series on how to practice our faith muscles to build endurance to have God’s sozo (Greek for salvation means whole salvation: healed prospered, delivered, and blessed) work for us.  Sometimes we give up too early; sometimes we are so close to the victory and loose hope and never get to see the victory.  Sometimes we doubt God’s faithfulness and the integrity of His Word.

Dear Beloved, we can trust God and His Word with our lives!  He is ever so faithful and trustworthy!  Would you today and this week commit your lives to trust God and His word for your circumstances!  Don’t fall on the alternatives; they are there for you to opt out of your hope in God’s Word.  Lean on Jesus for everything.  He is everything for us.

Have a blessed week with Jesus!!!

Hopeful together in Jesus,

Pastor Sam

Let’s experience the fullness and abundance of God

clock August 16, 2011 14:10 by author samini77

Dear Beloved in Christ @BLC,

Someone reminded me yesterday that it was India’s Independence Day.  I asked the question “is India free, or any other country for that matter? Yes physically there might be some external freedom people have received.  In the Gospel of John 8:36 Jesus makes one of the most powerful statements about Himself and us:  So if the Son {Jesus} sets you free, you will be free indeed.” The Son of God is the only One who makes one truly free.

For those who have experienced this freedom in your spirits, I want to ask few other questions: Are you living to the full extent of Christian life?  Is your value system matches the value system of the Son of God?  Are you growing in the grace of God?  Are you living in fear or anything or anyone?  Are you exercising your faith of the Son of God who loved you and gave Himself for you?

Let’s experience the fullness and abundance of God on this side of eternal life!  The One who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world.  If any of the above questions ring a bell in your hearts and you would like to know more on the fullness of Christ, please write back.  There are plenty of resources and many things to learn.

Have a powerful blessed week in Christ!

Pastor Sam

Jesus is the manifestation of God’s love on this earth.

clock August 9, 2011 14:07 by author samini77

Dear Beloved in Christ,

Jesus is the glory of God manifestation on this earth.  Jesus is the manifestation of God’s love on this earth.  He is the superlative of everything God has.  We relate to Him so close because He became like one of us.  He made sure He was portraying His Father to us. Jesus emphatically would say that my Father and I are one (Jn.10:30).

The Holy Spirit’s primary role is to reveal Jesus to all of us and to reveal Father God’s heart to us.  Lacking in this glorious revelation would cause us to live with the orphan spirit of fear and not find our identity in Christ.  Jesus knew who He was and we need to know who we are.  Who are we?  We are the children of the Father God who loves us so intimately and lavishly that a small glimpse of this love revelation would cause us to live like Jesus on this earth.    Jesus lived fearlessly, with the fullness of God.   He lived like the first Adam yet with more authority and faith.  His purpose of coming was that we too live like Him, with love of God in our hearts and authority.  Fear should not govern our hearts but the love and awe of God.

Today, would you ask the Lord to reveal this plan of Him?  Ask the Lord to show if following things that are fear related are anywhere near in your life’s radar.

Examine your fear:  If you are living in fear of uncertainty of tomorrow, fear of dying, fear of Satan, fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of disapproval, fear of lack of finances, fear of the death of a loved one, fear of not loving or being loved, fear of confrontation, fear of going crazy, fear of losing my salvation, etc. (taken from Steps to Freedom booklet by Neil Anderson)

If anyone of them is governing your life, simply reject them and ask the Lord to replace it with His love and awe because God has not given us the spirit of fear but of love, power and self –control (2Tim. 1:7).

Pray this with me:  Lord Jesus, I admit that I have allowed fear to govern me and I did not trust you.  I relinquish or renounce this fear(s) of_______ in my life.  I trust in your unfailing love, power and self-control that you have given me.  In the Name of the Lord Jesus I pray, Amen.

I would love to hear from you if this simple exercise helped you in any way.  May be you know someone who has these fears.  Help them and send a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

In God’s eternal love,

Pastor Sam

*Scripture reveals that we will be eternally worshipping and praising God.  Seraphim, cherubims and angels are 24/7 praising and worshipping God.

This Friday Nite we will be having a special Praise and Worship service this week:  All Night Praise and Worship will start at 8- 12pm (or until we are done).  We will have dinner from 7-8pm.

*This month, on Sundays, I will be teaching a series on the Kingdom of God order.  If you are in any leadership of BLC or would like to be in, I would ask you to not miss any sessions.  The Series would include practical things of how our individual lives, marriage, and Church should run under Kingdom order.

Knowing the Lord personally and His Kingdom

clock August 2, 2011 13:02 by author samini77

Dear Beloved in Christ,

We are on a journey on knowing the Lord personally and His Kingdom.  Jesus brought the Kingdom of God with Him and asked His disciples to pray on those same lines. “Your Kingdom come and let your will be done on earth as it is heaven” (Matt.6:10). After He finished His work on the earth and before leaving, He said and commissioned His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations.  He told them to teach others to obey everything He has commanded them.  We need to know what all Jesus taught His disciples from the Word of God. Because we too are His children and disciples, we need to learn all that He wants us to learn so we experience the fullness of God and abundance He intended for us NOW.

Jesus came to finish the reign of the devil on the mankind and said, “All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me.”(Matt 28:18b). We need to learn that Jesus defeated the devil and his power of sin and death from our lives.  We need to learn this intentionally so when the enemy who is defeated tells us that we are defeated, hopeless and fearful, we can boldly declare the Word of God that we are God’s children and God has not given us the spirit of fear but of love, power and self control. (Jn.1:12:13; and 2 Tim. 1:7).  We need to know that ALL authority in Heaven and on earth now belongs to Jesus.

Dear Beloved, I want you to know that Heaven is a real place and has its own culture, atmosphere, and environment.  The whole culture of Heaven is centered on God.  He is the object and permeation that seeps into every atom of Heaven.  The reason God wants us to know Him so personally and His Kingdom is so we can experience the Kingdom NOW on this earth and have our eternal life begin for us NOW.   Don’t let anyone tell us that eternal life is only in heaven.  Eternal life can begin for us NOW, it starts with having an intimate and intentional relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit (Jn.17:3).  The next thing is to learn everything Jesus taught His immediate disciples.  Jesus taught and preached about the Kingdom of Heaven and healed everyone who believed in Him.  That is the culture Jesus produced around Him.  I pray that each one of us would have this longing in us to see this as happening in our generation.  Let me encourage you by saying that many generations has carried this out in small measures but as we draw closer to the Lord’s Day, we will see a greater and powerful measure and  atmosphere in our generation.

This is so exciting!  I hope you think and pray on these lines as well.

Together in His Kingdom,

Pastor Sam

Knowing the Lord and His kingdom

clock July 26, 2011 10:10 by author samini77

Dear Beloved in Christ,

We are on a journey on knowing the Lord personally and His kingdom. Last few years we have learned many things that are worth repeating and rejoicing in the Lord. There are more Scriptural references on some topics than I have put in. If you need more Scriptural references on any one topic or more, please write back and I will send to you. We live in exciting times and if the desire and longing is there, the knowledge of God will accelerate more in these times for all of us.

God’s Word is our Final Authority. (Jn. 6:63; 2Tim.3:16; 2Pet.1:20, 21)

Nothing in God is bigger than His love. (Eph. 3:17-19)

It’s not our love for God but God’s love for us that matters. (1Jn.4:10, 16)

God’s love has no fear but awe and wonder. (1Jn.4:18)

It’s about relationship with God not a religion. His presence is real (Gal.2:16)

Our actions are important but not important as our heart motives. (Rom. 4:5, Heb.4:12)

God’s love is our motive for our obedience unto Him (Jn. 14:15, 23, 1Jn.3:16, 4:10)

Salvation (sodzo) includes eternal forgiveness of our sins, eternal life, divine healing, divine wellbeing, divine deliverance from curses etc. (Eph.1:3 and 2Pet.1:3)

God our Father corrects us not through sickness or trials but through His Word. (Joh.15:3; 2Tim. 3:16)

Our spirit is perfected in Christ Jesus and is one with Him (Heb.10:14, 12:23, 1 Cor. 6:17)

We live by the Spirit and not by the flesh. (Gal.5:16 and Rom.8:4)

We have eternal redemption in Christ Jesus. (Heb.9:12)

The New Covenant God made on our behalf. (2Cor. 3:6, Heb.8:6, 9:15) We are New Covenant Christians.

We walk and live by faith and not by sight. (2 Cor. 4:18, 5:7)

We wrestle not against flesh and blood but we have a defeated foe. (2Cor 10:3-5, 1Pet.5:8)

We have authority in Christ Jesus as children of God over devil and his deception (Matt. 28:19, 20; Luke 10:19).

We have authority to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, cast the demons out and raise the dead. (Matt.10:1 and Mark 16:17-18)

The fruit of the Spirit is already placed within us as a deposit. (Eph.1:13-14; Gal.5:22)

Eternal life is not for the future only but already begun for a child of God in a relationship with Him because the word eternal means timelessness. (Jn.17:3)

These are some highlighted things that I have put in.There is much more things we have learned and will learn more things in the days to come. God's blessings on you all. I love you all and bless you all in the Name of Jesus!

Agape and Shalom,

Pastor Sam

Rejoicing in all times

clock July 19, 2011 23:59 by author samini77

Dear Beloved in Christ,

To know that we are blessed and to rejoice only in good times is not Christian faith. We believe in God’s supernatural hand and blessings but rejoicing in all times even when you are not sure why things of strange natures are happening to you, our faith can be visible when we rejoice (smile and dance for joy) and know that we are still blessed.

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, 1Pet. 4:12, 13a)

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.”(James 1:2)

Tests of our faith are part of Christian life.Evil tests are not from God, “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;” (emphasis mine; James 1:12, 13)
God does not tempt or test you with sickness, disease or bad things. The Greek word for trial in verse 12 is πειρασμς peirasmos and the word for tempt in verse 13 is πειρζω peirazōand the word cannot be tempted is περαστος apeirastos. Notice they all have the same Greek root word. The word for trial and the temptation are the same Greek word.
God has put His joy and peace and love in our born again spirits and when we go through difficult times in this physical realm, we can still rejoice and claim our victories in Christ Jesus. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control.”(Gal.5:22).Lets draw from the spiritual realm, the faith world, the kingdom of God that is within us.
Dear Beloved, we can rejoice in the middle of anything good or bad.We can smile at the storm of our lives and rebuke the sickness and diseases in the authority of Jesus because sickness is not from God.We can suffer rejection or anything in our lives with smile on our faces. That is how we display our faith in action.
I pray that you will pass all your tests with smile on your faces because that is the reality of our born again spirits.
Together in one Spirit,
Pastor Sam

Christ has set us free

clock July 12, 2011 00:15 by author samini77

Dear Beloved of Christ,

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.  Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.” (Galatians 5:1-4)

What is the grace of God? Basically, the grace of God is the person of Christ.

Are you trying to earn or justify the blessings of God?The very definition of grace is blessings of God because of Jesus’ finished work of Christ.

God is healing, delivering and prospering you because of Jesus. The grace of God is His unearned, unmerited and undeserved favor for you simply because of Jesus’ finished work.

Can you fall from grace?Apostle Paul says you can, because God’s grace is based on Jesus’ work and not yours, the only way you can fall from this grace is by believing that you can earn, merit and deserve it through your obedience and good works.

For example, you fall from grace when you say, “God has to answer my prayer because I have prayed long enough.” You also fall from grace when you think that because you are serving in church in some way or you got rid of a bad habit, God is pleased with you and He has to bless you.The very common one I hear is, “This pastor or this person has to be healed because his family is from four generations Spirit filled Christians.”

When you think that it is by your efforts and obedience or your family heritage that you receive God’s blessings, you become like the Pharisees. They believed that their law-keeping and traditions justified them and ensured that God would bless them. But the truth is that when you believe like them, “You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.” This means that you are cut off from Christ, who is your salvation, Redeemer, healer and provider. Christ has become of no value to you!”

Dear beloved, surely you would want Christ to be of value to you and not fall from His Grace. People to whom Christ is of value receive from Him the miracle they need. When He is of value to them, He is their healer and they get healed. Jesus is their wisdom. He is their good success and they experience good success in all that they do.

Today, let’s get a course correction that Christ is everything and whatever blessings of God you get is because of His undeserving, unmerited and unearned favor.

Thank you Jesus!

Because of His Grace,

Pastor Sam

Declaration for Healing

clock July 5, 2011 00:19 by author samini77

Dear Beloved @ BLC,

What we believe is very important to our practical Christian life.

Following is a declaration for healing and stay in divine healing:

BELIEVE THAT:

*I am God's creation (Ps. 139 13-16).

*Long life is my purpose and destiny. (Ps. 91:16)

*Sickness is always from the devil (Acts 10:38, Matt. 10:1)

*Jesus has already paid for my sickness in the atonement (Isa.53:4-5; 1Pet. 1; 2:24)

*I have been given the faith of Jesus to do the same as He did (Jn.14:12)

*I can speak to the mountain myself instead of telling God to do it for me because I am God’s child and He has given me authority. (Mark 11: 22-24, Luke 10:19)

*If I believe God's Word, I will see the healing manifested and stay healed. (Matt.21:22; Mk.9:23)

Healing blessings to you all! Post this in your house, and do send it to others for their healing as well.

In Christ’s Agape and Shalom,

Pastor Sam

The true knowledge of God

clock June 28, 2011 00:22 by author samini77

Dear Beloved @ BLC,

The true knowledge of God is bound to bring changes in your life!

This last week we had family members visiting from outside so we wanted their stay to be comforting, so we bought couple of air mattresses for them to sleep on.After taking the air out of the mattresses we folded them and during the time of sleep we put the air back into them.As I was filling the air using an air pump, I made a simple spiritual observation that as air went inside the folded and wrinkled mattress; the folds became straightened and wrinkled gone without any effort.

In the same way, the true knowledge of God is powerful and it’s like an air pump and it will bring changes to our lives that have wrinkles and folds.During the Festival of life, Pastor Thomas shared on the misconceptions about God.

Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord” (2 Pet.1:2).Notice this verse is saying the same thing as the above illustration.Let me highlight it for you.True knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit will bring abundant grace and peace to our lives. If we believe God is the source of our problem, you cannot tell God to take your problem away.If we meditate on the goodness of God, then goodness will flow into our lives.Sometime the enemy will try to block God’s blessings, but we need not to worry but rebuke, resist and stand firm against the devil and the Word of God says , “he will flee from you” (James 4:7, 1 Pet.5:8-9).So beloved, I encourage you to get the true knowledge of God and experience the grace and peace in abundance.

Remember the statement the man of God, Pastor Thomas was using during the Festival of Life, “filled and overflowing”.We need to be filled and then we need to overflow to others. Are you a grace flowing person and peace maker? If not, get the true knowledge of God and you will without any effort become a channel of blessing to yourself and others around you like air in the mattress.May our homes and gatherings be filled with grace and peace in abundance and see the wrinkles and folds leave out of our lives!!!Now that’s powerful, Amen!

In His true Knowledge together,

Pastor Sam

*God’s blessings on all who are travelling during the long weekend.
